Computers are readily available for all patrons. Guest passes can be printed for non-patrons, however minors will need verbal permission from parents to access computers without a library card.
Faxing is available at the staff desk. Pricing for faxing is $1.00 for the first page after the cover page, and $0.50 for every additional page after.
Are you unable to visit the Library due to illness or injury and live in the city limits of Mulvane? We offer home delivery services to those in need- all you need is a library card and a Home Delivery form.
If the Library does not own a book that a patron would like to borrow, they can request an Interlibrary Loan free of charge. Patrons will be notified when their book has arrived and be able to pick it up and return it to the Mulvane Library.
Are you a teacher who needs additional books for a class book discussion or unit on a specific topic? The Library loans materials to local schools to help with class reading and projects. Contact the Library for more information.
The Library offers notary services at no cost to patrons. Please call ahead to assure the notary is available and bring your state-issued ID. Do not sign documents prior to meeting with the notary.
The Library offers black and white printing at our public printer and color printing behind the staff desk. Printing prices are $0.10 per black and white page and $0.25 per color page.
Need a place to study or host a non-profit group? We have a variety of rooms available for reservation.
Patrons can scan documents to their email or a flash drive through our public printer for no charge.
The Library would love to come do a special storytime at your school or daycare. Contact us to set up a date and time!
The State Library of Kansas offers a Talking Books service to any resident of Kansas who has difficulty reading or handling traditional print materials as a result of a permanent or temporary visual impairment, physical impairment or reading disability. The Mulvane Public Library can help you check eligibility and submit your application.
The Mulvane Public Library is here to help with your technology needs. One-on-One Tech Help appointments are available for up to an hour at a time and staff can meet with you in-person at the Library or assist over the phone.
The Library offers test proctoring to homeschooled and online high school students, secondary/postsecondary students, and professionals taking licensing tests. All exams must be taken during Library hours. Appointments scheduling is subject to availability. Please submit requests for test proctoring appointments at least 5 days in advance of the test to allow time for test proctors to receive testing information from your school/institution.
Free Wi-Fi is accessible to anyone in the Library.
