I was born in Colorado and began drawing at a young age. At first, I hated working in color so I spent most of my life working in charcoal. I attended Western State University where I studied English Literature with an emphasis in Creative Writing. While at Western, I began working in color and quickly fell in love with watercolor and acrylic. When I am not painting, drawing or writing, I spend most of my time outdoors with my husband and two girls. Website: audettart.com
I am Craig Fisher, and I am a Disabled Navy Veteran with Parkinson’s Disease. I have professionally performed as a Clown for a Circus, and I am a published Children’s Book Author. My love of woodworking came to a screeching halt after I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, because of the shaking. Learning about Parkinson’s and how it slowly debilitates the body is a profound undertaking. My “artistic mind” didn’t go anywhere, so finding ways to keep my body and mind active was crucial, and drawing is the way I deal with it. Art covers many different avenues, and every artist is different. I draw what I feel from the Parkinson’s, and am trying to educate people to the reality of this nightmare of a disease. I hope everyone can find their own meaning in my work.
